If not, get something cheaper and Office 2013 with only some of the money you save. If you plan to, I don't know, play video games or watch 2 HD streams at once, fine.

I program all day on a machine somewhere between a quarter and a third as powerful as this one. No disrespect, but I think it's massively overpowered for your needs.
